Bush & Beach Tour Full Day Out

This adventure combines our 1.5 hour Beach Kayak Tour together with an assisted self guided hike 3.5 hour coastal hike along a stretch of the famous and spectacular Coast Track from Wattamolla to Bundeena.

Start the day in Bundeena where you’ll be transferred to Wattamolla to hike a section of the famous Coast Track from Wattamolla to Bundeena. Map and interpretive info provided so that you can learn more about the natural and cultural treasures you see along the track.

On return and after a short break meet up with your kayak guide to enjoy a fully guided beach tour around the beautiful Bundeena beaches and Port Hacking waterway.

This experience offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy both the bushland and beaches of this nature lover’s paradise. 

Price: $110 adults and $65 children 12 years plus (each child must be accompanied by an adult)
Duration: Full day adventure with approximately 1.5 hours kayaking, 3-4 hours walking, 30 mins bus transfers, plus extra preparation time before and between activities 1 hour

Itinerary:

* Meet 15 minutes prior to start of your adventure to complete paperwork and get ready for the transfer to Wattamolla for your hike
* Walk the stunning section of the famous Coast Track from Wattamolla to Bundeena (this is an 11km walk and takes approx. 3-3.5 hours, transfer takes 20 mins)
* Return from the hike ready for your kayaking adventure. Meet up with your guide and get fitted into your safety vest and kayak.
* Technique and safety briefing from your expert guide
* Get started on your paddling adventure!* Kayak along the beautiful Deeban Sand-Spit, across to the tucked away Little Darook Park or around to Bundeena ferry wharf.
* Destinations varies depending on weather conditions, but all trips are sure to impress!

About the Kayaks: A choice of double or single sit on top style kayak will be available. The kayaks are stable and comfortable and well suited to beginners. Kayaks have plenty of storage space either in enclosed hatches or open deck space. Dry storage bags for a small amount of gear (towel, jacket, phone etc) are provided on tours. There is a storage area at our base for leaving your bags etc whilst on the tour

What to wear: You will get wet when paddling from splashes, so best to wear comfortable lightweight clothes (no jeans) and a hat. If it looks like rain we suggest packing a lighweight wet weather jacket and if it’s going to be cold, pack a fleece. For the walk we recommend light weight full cover shirt and pants. Lycra active pants are great. Make sure you wear comfortable, fully enclosed walking shoes.
What to Bring: Water (3 Litres), Hat, Sunglasses, Towel, Change of clothes – you will get wet from splashes and Sunscreen, Fully charged mobile phone, back pack for the walk, basic first aid kit (get into the habit or having one of these in your bag at all times), Lunch and snacks for the walk
Pre-Requisites: No paddling experience is required – beginners are welcome! All participants must be able to swim and be in r fit condition. The walk is long and there are a few steep sections. We also love having kids aboard and welcome children from 12 so long as each child is accompanied by an adult
