All the Way! Bundeena to Audley

Our All the Way kayaking adventure is a sure favourite and enjoyed by return customers year after year! Start the trip either in Bundeena or from Audley (depending on the tide) and paddle the full 12 km stretch of the lovely Port Hacking Waterway.

It’s the perfect way to see change in the river ecosystems as you head from the coast to the upper reaches of the river. The Port Hacking River is considered Sydney’s most pristine waterway is ideally explored from the water by kayak. The southern shore of the river is bordered predominantly by Royal National Park, including many remote areas only easily reached from the water. 

This trip can be quite demanding, so is  only suitable for experienced kayakers only.

Price: $90 per person – includes GST, 4 hours of gear hire and transfer
Duration: 4 hours (approx.)
Availability: Planned around favourable tides. Click Book now to request date. We need to check we have crew available for transfer and also check tides for starting point and timing on the day. After you have requested date we will touch base with you to confirm availability and start time and you can then proceed with payment
Inclusions: Hire of kayak, paddle, safety vest and dry storage bag, map of the river, one way transfer

Itinerary: 

* Meet at our Bundeena base 15 minutes prior to start of your tour to complete paperwork, be fitted into safety vest and kayak and organise your gear.
* Trip briefing provided by Bundeena Kayaks crew
* You will then either be transferred to Audley for the return paddle to Bundeena or begin your kayaking adventure in Bundeena and kayak to Audley. The departure point is planned around tides on the day.

About the Kayaks: You can choose to paddle either in a double or single kayak (price varies). Our kayaks are a sit on top style fitted with comfortable backrests and have either a enclosed storage hatch or on deck storage option.
What to wear: You will get wet when paddling from splashes, so best to wear comfortable lightweight clothes (no jeans) and a hat. If it looks like rain we suggest packing a lighweight wet weather jacket and if it’s going to be cold, pack a fleece.
What to Bring: Water (1Litre), Hat, Sunglasses, Towel, Change of clothes – you will get wet from splashes and Sunscreen 
Pre-Requisites: You must have previous kayaking experience, be reasonably fit and a competent swimmer. This is not a trip for beginners.
